- ADVANCED 3-D
-
- Stereop-Jr was designed to be an easy introduction to true stereoscopic
- painting. If you'd like to explore the subject further, try a program
- called Stereopticon 2. It can make pictures up to 1023x1023 pixels,
- including interlaced, and use more than 24 grounds. Click this {[P07,4,7] example }.
-
- The StereopJr interface is an example of a high-resolution picture made with
- Stereopticon 2. Click {[P01,4,7] here } to see another. You can also use white
- backgrounds, a reversed palette and translucent planes. Click {[P08,4,7] here } for an
- example.
-
- It has a Grabber feature to save time by letting you use just part of a
- picture. Its Image Converter can prepare any non-AGA IFF picture for
- processing. For example, the background grounds of this {[P06,4,7] picture } were
- converted from a 32-colour picture made by a scenery generator. And its
- Animation Script Mode processes simple 3-D animations automatically.
-
- The GAME OBJECTS used in the Stereop-Jr game were made by Stereopticon 2.
- This {[D07,4,7] demo } lets you move an object through three-dimensional space with
- the joystick or keyboard. Moving the joystick left or right has the usual
- effect. Moving it up or down moves the ball toward or away from the
- horizon. The keyboard controls are the cursor keys. Exit the demo by
- pressing RETURN or ESC or by clicking a mouse key.
-
- Stereopticon 2 was rated 93% by CU Amiga (6/96) and 95% by Amiga Shopper
- (#63). It's available as an expandable demo disk from your PD dealer.
